We also have a comfy lounge to put your feet up and chat with a friend. We also provide a separate TV lounge up at the lodge end of the hostel.

Our comfortable snug backpacker accommodation opens out onto a decking area through French doors, which helps to give the rooms a fresh light feel.

We also have a selection of doubles and a separate room called the Love Shack for those of who need a touch of something special.

The Matterhorn South is the only budget accommodation in Wanaka that has its own hot tub and yes it’s FREE! So climb on after a hard day and watch the sun go down. 

For those rainy days we also have over a 100 DVDs to watch and to make that experience a bit more fun we provide you with FREE popcorn!
